I am slowly preparing my apartment for a thorough spring cleaning. I spent about 2 hours today making the bed, vaccuming, light dusting, throwing things away. Everything still looks scruffy. I have every window open right now... as it's a nice sunny day, I am trying to air/dry out the house. We've had a really musky mildew type smell all winter from the moisture.
Plus we still have our god damn christmas tree up. We have this floor in our kicthen that looks dirty no matter how many times I mop it. Other than that, the dishes and a few other things need to be done.. and then the "pre-spring cleaning" will be done.
I may even re-arrange our bedroom or computer room. Our computer room could do with a remodel. There is so much space being wasted. I might buy a huge book shelf, and get rid of one of the desks in here. It would free up a lot of room and make for good re-arrangements.

Other than that. I am selling one of my amplifers today. Hopefully will get $125 for it... Then I gotta take Ty to Everyday Music so he can sell some of his promos.
Then it's just more cleaning for me.
This place gets dirty sooo quick... and quite dusty. I am going to go dust more and round up quarters for laundrey.

So, at my new job I am doing surveys over the telephone with people. I've been calling Iron Mountain, MI. It's made me realise a few depressing things... you don't know how many old people I get that go "Oh, I am too old..... My opinion doesn't count.." either that, or they can't hear a damn word I say.
And not only that.. I get a handful of house wives ever hour that say "The head of the house hold isn't home" .... Jesus christ.. it's the most depressing area I've ever heard of. Wive's thinking they aren't qualified as at least 1/2 the head of house hold.. and nothing but old people saying they are too old and their opinion doesn't count !

Jesus, and not only that they had like 17 inches of snow over the last 24 hours. But I got to sit at a big desk with a comfy chair and a pretty view of the garden. I like my new job a lot.

Hmm.. Other than that not much new is going on. School finals coming up in the next 2 weeks. Then sometime on my spring break I am visiting california again. I miss my parents and dogs soo much ! I keep having dreams about rusty and charlie. God.. I want to hug them.

I have an interview I need to transcibe for dvdtalk.com right now, so I better go do it. Then I need to feed my spideys. Tonight me and ty are going to rent a movie and eat pizza. Sounds good to me.

Ty & I just got back from Seattle, as apart of a late proper Valentine's day celebration.. It was super fun. Seattle is so weird. I can't explain it. It took about 2 hours to get there, and we arrived at night. The night life is crazy and full of hipsters. Anyway, we got a super expensive hotel with a mini bar and on demand movies.. heh heh ;-)
Then.. we went to a expensive weirdly decorated restaurant called "icon grill".. the food sucked, but the decorations were cool. I was bitter afterwards for having to tip for such a shitty meal. Our hotel had the most beautiful view of the city.. we were right in the middle... it was so completely awsome.
We woke up and had breakfast at the Hurricane grill. That place was rad.. it was totally 80s.. and they played such a good selection of music. The chef was a punk rocker, and our waitress was on some kind of drug.
We went down 1st street to the water.. you have view of all these snow covered mountains.. and it was such a beautiful sunny day.
I got some pictures of the space needle... then we decided to book it and drive to mt. st helens on the way back.
We drove all we could to mt. st helens and got these rad ass pictures of it.. super up close. Then the snow started getting about as tall as me on the sides of the road.. and then eventually the roads were closed because of too much snow. So we headed back and came back to beautiful Portland, OR.

I just got done bleaching our entire bathroom and seeing to my spideys. Now it's coffee & music time !

It's blizzarding out side with snow and wind, and soon to be freezing rain to turn our portland roads into ice skating rinks. It was my first day of college, but not anymore.

Snow is really exciting when you didn't have plans.

On my way to do laundrey down our "steps"..

She will celebrate her birthday on 28 July 2003. she wil be 18 years old.

I am so glad my birthday is only a few more months away. I am anxious to get out of here, to leave my job, and see somewhere new again. Work tonight was average. Just another work day. But I decided that if i were to ever open a chain of stores, it would have signs around the store that say things such as this..

Inside every bathroom stall ->
" Don't come to my store to take a shit, go home and do that you filthy bastard"
( regaurding people stinking up our toilets)

In the purse department ->
"If you drop it, pick it up"
( regaurding every customer not knowing the knowlege of hanging stuff up where they found it)

At every register ->
"Leave the attitude out side the door, fucker"
( regaurding the shit i get from nig nogs )

Anyways, I could think of a ton more. But I am tired.. Off to work on me and tylers new song <3

Finally work was enjoyable last night. People were still the same. Rude, obnoxious, careless bastards. But with the help of a few fellow co-workers.. it was indeed an enjoyable evening.
Me and my friend were stuck in the dressing room - I was rearranging purses, and she was re-arranging a wall full of body lotions, soaps, perfumes, etc. But we always ended up together working on the same project. Basically we colour coded it. Stuck everything pink together, everything green together, and all the dark blues together.
At last , we ended up with dark browns, blacks, yellows, and tans. So we stuck the greys at the end, then the blacks, then the browns and deep browns together. Then the bright yellows, making our way down the line until all of our tan completed the shelves.
We were so proud. We wanted to take a picture. We even kept our eye on every single customer as they gandered at our beautiful wall of lotions. After they'd touch something,. we'd run over and go "GASP! I HAVE TO FIX SOMETHING!".
But we knew it'd all be messed up by today. Infact, It's 11:03 right now. 100 bucks it's a MESS.

I am not going to whine or bitch about work yesterday evening because it was how work should be. Amen.
